Established in 1979 Northern Paper Board Ltd has over the last couple of years invested heavily in new machinery producing solidboard boxes. With further major planned expansion and the implementation of robots the company is now looking for staff to take it to the next level.

Account Manager
Due to continued success we are now looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our sales department.
Hours 37.5 Hours per week
Wage Depending on experience
Job Type Permanent
The Role You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients and developing new client contacts. Retaining current business in accordance with targets and generating new business from existing clients. Pricing and processing orders received by telephone and email. Maintain contact database. Provide a high quality of customer service at all times. Monitor stock and liaise with production to ensure on time deliveries.
Skills
  • You must be able to sell products through the use of product knowledge with excellent sales techniques.
  • Have the ability to gain sound knowledge of the complete company portfolio, the strengths of the business and of other competitor products.
  • Gain a sound knowledge of the pricing and excepted targets.
  • Be able to handle objections and negotiate skillfully in tough situations winning the business and retaining good relationships.
  • You will be able to orchestrate multiple activities at once, arrange information and files in a structured way. You will build effective relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Have self confidence to be able to work with minimum supervision, delivering work that is timely and accurate first time, contributing to the team spirit.

MECHANIC/ENGINEER/MACHINE OPERATOR
Hours 40 Hours per week plus emergency breakdown shift cover when required

The Role Reporting to the Managing Director, you work to ensure the smooth running of the production machines in order to meet the specified deadlines.
Responsibilities
  • To maintain the production machines in good working order
  • To carry out break down maintenance, fault finding and rectification
  • Continue to modify the machines if necessary in order to increase/improve production
  • To work within Health and Safety regulations
  • Must be willing to operate machinery to cover holidays, illness and breaks but also to learn and understand the manufacturing process
The Person
  • Be a dynamic and committed team member
  • Must be from an engineer/mechanical/electrical background
  • Must have technical ability and strong diagnostic skills to problem solve effectively and efficiently
  • Be able to weld and use a lathe.
  • Be able to work alone with minimum supervision and also along side management.
  • Pay attention to detail, the ability to respond quickly and work under pressure
  • Be reliable, a good time keeper and team worker
  • Driving licence essential
Telesales Executive
Due to continued success we are now looking for an experienced Telesales Executive to join our sales department.
Hours 37.5 Hours per week
Wage Depending on experience
Job Type Permanent
The Role You will be responsible for making outbound calls to prospective business customers and building relationships to win new orders. Working through and maintaining the contact database with accurate, real time information. Help to identify target markets and assist with the development and monitoring of market and competitor activities.
Skills
  • You must be able to sell products through the use of product knowledge with excellent telesales techniques.
  • Successfully demonstrate at least 1yrs telephone based sales.
  • Have the ability to gain sound knowledge of the complete company portfolio, the strengths of the business and of other competitor products.
  • Gain a sound knowledge of the pricing and excepted targets
  • Be able to handle objections and negotiate skillfully in tough situations winning the business and retaining good relationships.
  • Have self confidence to be able to work with minimum supervision, delivering work that is timely and accurate first time, contributing to the team spirit.
